Rafael Benitez was full of praise for his players after the 4-0 win over Fulham and felt it was a thoroughly deserved three points.
The Liverpool manager felt his team played some good football and were always in control of the game.
"It was good to score four goals and keep another clean sheet and it was good for the supporters to watch," enthused Benitez. "In the first half we controlled the game but just couldn't score and I told the players at half-time to keep going and we would score. Once we got the first one it was easier for us and we could keep going forward and look to score more goals.
"I was pleased to see Carra score and it was a good goal. He is a very clever player and he went for the second ball from the corner and scored. It was his first goal of the new century! "We are not looking at the league table at this moment and we just want to keep going and look to the next match then we will see in the next two months where we are."
