Daniel Agger claims he is not bothered about being in the limelight following his elevation to the Liverpool first team.
A series of assured performances and a stunning goal against West Ham have ensured everyone is talking about the great Dane. "I don't really remember the goal. If I'm honest I just wanted to get back in the dressing room," Agger told LFC Magazine. "I know some players like the attention and that's fine. They can take it for me. I feel good just being in the background where I can be myself. "That is how I had it in Denmark as well." The centre-back also revealed his broken hand has now nearly healed. He said: "It hurts a little when I carry things but otherwise it is okay. I only train and play with the cast on but I expect it to come off soon. "It has been a bit of an inconvenience more than anything else."
