FOWLER ON THE SPOT TO PUT REDS TWO UP

Two Robbie Fowler penalties have put Liverpool in the ascendancy against Sheffield United at Anfield this afternoon.
Fowler netted from the spot in the 17th and 25th minute to give the Reds a comfortable 2-0 half-time lead.

Robbie slots home from the penalty spot versus Sheff UtdIn both occasions Steven Gerrard was brought down in the box, first by Robert Kozluk, then Nick Montgomery.

Liverpool have been in total control of proceedings throughout the opening 45-minutes and, hopefully, more goals will follow after the break
