WHEN STEVIE MET DENNIS

Steven Gerrard has followed in the footsteps of Dennis the Menace by making a special guest appearance in the children's comic The Beano.
The Liverpool captain has done his best for red nose day by appearing in this week's Comic Relief special of the first edition of the BeanoMax comic, out on sale in the shops now.

Together with Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard, the pair appear in the Ball Boy comic strip inside the magazine.

Red Nose Day is on March 16th and the new BeanoMax comic, which will be published monthly, is aimed at readers aged nine to 13. The Beano, which will continue to be published weekly in tandem with the new publication, will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year.
