Jimmy Rice 22 December 2006 Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has warned his players that this weekend's clash with Watford is far from a home banker. | |
The Reds are unbeaten at Anfield since October 2005, while Watford have won just one league game since gaining promotion from the Championship. "It's dangerous to talk about any game being an easy three points. The Premiership is never easy. In the last games we were playing at home against Man City and Portsmouth and we all saw how hard it was," said Benitez. "Watching some of the videos you see Watford are a difficult team to play against. They are a physical side and are well organised. They also keep a lot of players behind the ball. It's not easy to find space. But we are at Anfield and we know the supporters will be behind us. "I always say to the players, don't try and do anything too difficult, try to do the simple things as quick as possible, then we'll have opportunities. We must work really hard, keep calm |
